ACC Regents Approve Inventory Control Contract
Alvin Community College Board of Regents approved a contract for campus-wide inventory assessment during their meeting on July 24.
The board approved a $34,000 annual contract with Records Consultants Inc. to provide inventory counts. The assessment is intended to assist with compliance of grant programs as well as expansion of college services in other locations.
In other action, regents approved a contract with Ad Astra to provide software for scheduling college courses and events in campus facilities. The three-year contract will cost $23,916 annually.
Regents also approved a one-year extension on President Dr. Robert J. Exley鈥檚 three-year contract.
Regents also:
-reviewed proposed budget for the 2025-26 fiscal year
-approved contract renewal with Comcast for Internet services
-approved hiring of police officers, a telecommunications employee and a Math instructor
-approved monthly financial reports
The board will have its next meeting on August 21, 2025 at 6 p.m. in the Nolan Ryan Center.
