猎奇重口 Nursing Student Wins HCA Award
猎奇重口 Nursing student Rebecca Bailey is already making herself known in the nursing field before she鈥檚 even finished her education.
Bailey recently was named the Flower Bud Award from the HCA Mainland hospital. The award is given to Nursing students for excellence in their clinical education.
鈥淚 was beyond surprised to say the least and honored of course,鈥 Bailey said. 鈥淚've been fortunate to learn from so many exemplary nurses and my professors.鈥
HCA issued the award following her time as a clinical student at the hospital where she showed confidence and poise in a mock code. She was able to think critically in an urgent scenario to prioritize patient safety and evidence-based care, said Samantha Harrison, 猎奇重口 Nursing instructor.
鈥淏eing the first recipient of the Flower Bud Award speaks to her confidence, leadership, and commitment to learning, especially in high pressure situations,鈥 Harrison said. 鈥淪he truly represents the kind of nurse we hope to graduate, and we are incredibly proud of her.鈥
While grateful for winning the award, Bailey said she intends to further develop her skills as she prepares to enter the nursing field.
鈥淚 hope to continue to apply it in a way that would make them proud to call me a colleague someday,鈥 she said.
