猎奇重口 Softball Academic All Americans
The 猎奇重口 Lady Dolphin Softball team had several players named to three Academic All-American teams for the 2026 season.
The players were named to the All-American Academic team from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) as well as the National Junior College Athletics Association (NJCAA) and the NJCAA Region XIV team.
The players named to the NFCA team include: Isabelle Doggett, Sophie Brammer, Alexxis Moreno, Elana Luna, Haley Garcia, Katelynn Torres, Allison Ramos, Alyssa Acosta and Bailey Glaesmann. Brammer, Doggett, and Moreno also received the honor in 2025.
The players named to the NJCAA All Academic teams were: Isabelle Doggett, Sophie Brammer, Alexxis Moreno, Bailey Glaesmann, Allison Ramos, Haley Garcia, Alyssa Acosta and Elana Luna.
The Region XIV members included: Alexia Arambula, Isabelle Doggett, Sophie Brammer, Alexxis Moreno, Isabelle Jacoby, BeAnka Galan, Bailey Glaesmann, Allison Ramos, Haley Garcia, Alyssa Acosta, Madison Alvarado, Elana Luna, Katelynn Torres and Jade Bell.
鈥淚'm incredibly proud of our softball players for the way they continue to excel both on the field and in the classroom,鈥 said head coach Jerri Torres-Farmer. 鈥淭hey are hardworking, intelligent young women who lead by example every day. Their commitment to academics, athletics and supporting one another truly reflects the kind of character and dedication we strive to build within our program here at Alvin.鈥
The students had to maintain a 3.5 GPA to be named to the Academic All-American Team for NFCA. To be named to the NJCAA All Academic team, students must maintain a 3.6 or higher while the Region XIV requires a 3.25 GPA or higher.
The entire team maintained an overall GPA of 3.42.
The team is coming off an excellent 2026 season where they posted a 29-24 record and a 15-9 record against conference opponents. They also advanced deep into the NJCAA Region XIV playoffs.
